Hey pals, old and new; my name is Samantha Drew Perez, but I usually just go by Sam.
I am a twenty-two year old college student living in Connecticut. I go to Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) and am currently working on my secondary history education degree, hoping to graduate in the winter of 2019 or spring of 2020.
I’m a pretty generic person in their early twenties.
Some things that I love are doggos, the rain, a fire in the fireplace, margaritas, cozy blankets, being snuggled and the chips ‘n salsa and fried pickles at Chili’s (#notsponsored, but Chili’s hmu whenever you want to collab, I’m ready when you are).
Some things that I dislike are cilantro, the current political climate, when my glasses have smudges all over them, when an amazing show has a horrible ending (this is directed at you, How I Met Your Mother and Dexter), people that tailgate the shit out of you when you’re driving and people that lecture me for swearing.
This blog is a way for me to track my progress, especially with my mental health and how I see not only myself, but my life. I’m hoping by doing this, that I will end up becoming more confident with myself as a person and with my plans for the future.
Hopefully, I will also be helping someone else that feels the same way that I do (you can read more about why I started this blog in my first post that can be found here.)
Anyways, that’s enough about me (pun definitely intended), but thanks for stopping by.
I hope that this blog will potentially amuse you or maybe help you. Hell, maybe it has shown you how not to be as a person (in that case, you’re welcome in advance).
Whatever you take away from this whole nonsensical blog, I want you to know that I appreciate you even taking the time out of your day to read whatever my current ramblings in life are.
